The ACFE Ireland Chapter announced today that Kevin Hart, CFE has been named the incoming President. Hart replaces the current President and long-serving member William Doyle, CFE, who helped form the chapter and who has been instrumental in the chapter development.
Kevin Hart has been with the ACFE for 9 years and most recently served the Chapter in the Member Development role. Kevin holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce, is a Certified Fraud Examiner and has completed the Irish Expert Witness Training.

“I am thrilled with the appointment! My goal is to ensure that our professional association is regarded as the leading anti-fraud body in Ireland – the members are dedicated to making a positive contribution to reducing fraud, corruption and irregularities. To do this, we are focused on education and training about fraud, raising awareness of how fraud erodes value, how poor and toxic corporate cultures create the ‘perfect storm’ of pressure, opportunity and rationalisation – propelling (often) good people to act irrationally, sometimes with good intentions, but end up acting in a fraudulent manner.”
Glen Winn joins the Board as Vice President. Glen, Head of Fraud & Revenue Assurance at Virgin Media Ireland is a strategic, creative influential leader who has built a highly successful specialist Fraud & Revenue Assurance Shared Services Centre in Limerick. Glen leads a high performing team of more than 40 Fraud and Revenue specialists who support Virgin Media in the UK and Ireland, to succeed targets in revenue and at the same time significantly reduce risk.
Glen is a rounded professional who has made notable contributions to anti-piracy, revenue assurance, fraud risk management and business process improvement. He has led a number of high-profile fraud investigations in the UK and Ireland. Glen joined the ACFE in 2008.
“I am delighted to be appointed Vice President of the Irish Chapter and look forward to the challenge. I will be supporting Kevin and the Board in raising the profile of the association in Ireland. This includes developing meaningful collaborative relationships with external organisations, promoting the ACFE’s anti-fraud resources to the business community and attracting and nurturing the next generation of anti-fraud professionals.”
